Natalie Garcia-Ramos is a Mexican-American student currently studying at Emory University. She plans to major in Political Science and History with a concentration in Law, Economics, and Human Rights. Natalie is passionate about learning the effects of Colonialism, Development policy, Human rights, and how to address inequality at the local and global levels. Her passion stems from her involvement in Latinx communities in Texas. After working with an NGO focused on providing free health services to communities in San Antonio, she decided she wanted to focus on addressing injustice and inequality. After College, Natalie aspires to be a Lawyer with a concentration in Human rights or Immigration. Through this research, Natalie hopes to learn more about different perspectives to be a better change agent in her community. Outside of her schoolwork, Natalie is a member of the SGA first-year council, works at Emory Law School, and is an event planner for Table Talk.
